Mary, one of our creative and talented test sewers, combined elements from Ellastasia with some other designs and came up with some remarkable pillows.Regarding her projects, she said All of them sewed beautifully! I used a pinwale corduroy for the blue pillow. The other pillow top is done on a white-on-white quilting cotton. It took 3 hoopings of the jumbo 3-position hoop for both of them. The lace flower design that I added to the white pillow is a freebie I downloaded called Sharryns lace. The third sample is a border that I put on a pillowcase. On all of the samples, I hooped a medium cutaway, then sprayed with adhesive, and basted the fabric to the backing before embroidering. I used Marathon polyester thread. I had great fun making combinations.
